Lights


Lighting and audio are the two most important aspects for improving your video. This is going to be even more true as we move into High Definition setups.

A good videographer will have at minimum a key, fill and a back light setup. Be prepared to spend $400 - $1000. Another good idea is to have a small light mountable on your camera - just for those situations where the light is not good and you need something fast and you don't have your lighting gear with you.

And one more quickie on lighting - get to know your camera's manual settings - because you can correct many lighting situations with manual controls - Get to know them !
