This is not glamorous, but quoting from a thread on the old boards by
Brad Swenson of Pinnacle, here's how to replace that triangular play
button with another picture that could be customized for your client.

Hello,
some have asked about how to replace the "PLAY" button on DVD burns
(without authoring) you know, that big PLAY button??
well, here is how you do it, Enjoy!!!
(UGH, it won't c&p, i'm hand typing this, uff da)
DVD single stream will be compiled/burned with a default menu.
PAL: \program\menu_001.bmp
ntsc:\program\menu_001_ntsc.bmp
+Default menu-mask
PAL:\program\menuMask_001.bmp
NTSC:\program\menuMask_001_NTSC.bmp
these default menu files can be found in the Liquid installation \
program path and can be changed by the user. He or she has to make sure
that the file names, the video sizes and the color depths are always the
same.
PAL: Menu_001.bmp, 720x576 (width/Height) 24bit
MenuMask_001.bmp, 720x576, 8bit 256 color
NTSC: Menu_001_NTSC.bmp 720x480 24bit
MenuMask_001_NTSC.bmp 720x480 8bit 256 colors
Personally, I rarely leave the default button in place.
Hope this helps.
